Chaos : a working product & our first customers
Stay with me in order to discover what we changed in our process demo, how we had our first customers and what new product features are out there!
Hello you 😄
Chaos weekly is here! Stay with me in order to discover what we changed in our process demo, how we had our first customers and what new product features are out there!
TLDR: To sum it up, we :
had our first paying customers EXACTLY one month after our Linkedin post, 😍
changed our pricing strategy (no free user anymore, I’ll explain), 🛑
are building our marketplace (and need your brain to help us), 🧠
added a few product improvements, follow me to know what! 💪
A new process for Chaos demo
We started last week with what seemed to be a good idea: let people use our first version of Chaos on their own.
That was not a good idea
The objective was to show our value proposition through user testing. Explaining how their workspace was built and how we would be improving it by automation was easy. But as soon as they needed to add their own data, that was the end of it.
Now, the process is way easier for our early adopters. The demo is a 30mn call where Sydney and I are putting our efforts into understanding user pains and if we would be able to solve it. 🧐
Then, we show our demo account in which you can discover how we :
built our marketplace (431 services today),
create a dedicated team workspace (who has access to what),
manage contract birthdays and alerts,
analyze subscription spendings.
Our early access is still live (-50% for Freedom plan, 24,5€/month) for a few days if you request a demo through Substack, so click here if you want a demo 😄
We’re implementing a referral strategy too, each user you invite to Chaos and subscribes gives you a free month. If you think we can help some of your friends, spread the word! 🤗
Well, now we can say that we have product improvements!
Last log in time
We implemented last week a new feature on each dashboard, you will be able to discover when was the last time each team member logged in for the last time (with G Suite) for each app. Our goal here is to identifiy quickly which licenses could be considered as inactive. It’s small step for Chaos, but hey, it’s a first step towards usage identificiation.
Building our marketplace
We are looking for ways to populate our marketplace. We have now 431 services and we would like your ideas! To start, what we need is a way to find each invoice url.
Objective : to be able to find your invoices with only one click from Chaos.
We have now some services already but as we do not have paying subscriptions everywhere, we are not able to find everything!
Our (soon-to-be) public product roadmap
I am currently working on our public product roadmap! We would like our users to be able to vote in real-time about our next developments and to propose new features. If you have good example, I would me more than happy the check them out!
See you next week 🖐
